Lines, wrinkles, cellulite and unwanted fat are all part of the natural aging process. Treating these problems no longer means you must have surgery. The EndyMed 3DEEP eliminates loose skin, unwanted fat and embarrassing cellulite without surgery. The procedure is safe, fast and effective, and you see results after just the first treatment!

What areas of the body can 3DEEP treat?

The EndyMed 3DEEP system targets sagging and loose skin on any part of the body, such as:

  • Neck
  • Upper arms
  • Chest
  • Buttocks
  • Face
  • Thighs

What are the other factors connected to cellulite?

Dimpled skin is typically found on the thighs and buttocks and is caused by cellulite. Cellulite differs from other fat deposits on your body. Underneath your skin is connective tissue that covers the fat layer.

Over time, the fat bulges through openings in the connective tissue. The bulging fat is what causes the dimpled appearance of cellulite. Cellulite requires specialized treatment, as the condition is not treatable with liposuction like other types of unwanted fat. You may develop cellulite if you have:

  • Genetic predisposition
  • Fluid retention
  • Problems with lymphatic drainage
  • Poor or impaired collagen structures

What’s the solution?

Many men and women who are interested in anti-aging treatments are now looking for non-surgical solutions. EndyMed 3DEEP is an advanced technology that uses radiofrequency energy to treat lines and loose skin on your face and body. The system works by stimulating collagen development so your skin is able to reduce the signs of aging naturally. The EndyMed 3DEEP system is appropriate for facial tightening, body contouring and fractional skin resurfacing (FSR).

How the EndyMed 3DEEP system work?

The 3DEEP® system uses a special device to deliver radiofrequency energy at various powers and depths to address cosmetic problems in specific layers of skin. By using different sources of radiofrequency energy and a robust complementary software suite, the technology allows for a reduced amount of radiofrequency energy along the surface of your skin while delivering great results.

Another advantage of the 3DEEP® system is that the energy-delivery device allows for precise application, which is why 3DEEP® is able to help with lines and wrinkles on the face and other delicate areas. As the energy is applied to your skin, the collagen instantly contracts, so you may see results immediately after the treatment.

Additionally, the energy penetrates into the deep layers of skin to stimulate collagen production to allow for additional gradual improvements after the treatment. The technology behind the 3DEEP® system means that your outer layer of skin is not damaged by the procedure. 3DEEP® radiofrequency (RF) penetrates deeply into skin compared to bipolar or monopolar RF treatments.

What to expect from EndyMed 3DEEP radiofrequency procedure

The EndyMed 3DEEP system is designed to deliver specific levels of radiofrequency energy to address various cosmetic issues. The first step for your treatment is to determine the proper energy level that will give optimum results.

Once the system is set up for your treatment, a handpiece is used to apply the RF energy to the treatment area. The RF energy slowly heats the deeper layers of skin. You may feel a slight warming sensation on the surface of your skin that is similar to the temperature of a hot, yet comfortable, shower.

Most patients remain very comfortable during the treatment and find that they are able to easily relax with no discomfort. The treatment may take 30 to 45 minutes based upon the size of the area that is being treated. Your skin may have some mild redness for the first two to three hours after the treatment.

How can I get the most from EndyMed 3DEEP?

To achieve the best results, we recommend that you have six treatments that are scheduled one week apart. After that, you will only need a follow-up treatment every six months. The follow-up treatments extend the results of the 3DEEP® procedure. Some improvement is made after the first treatment, but you may have more visible improvements after subsequent treatments. Over time, your body’s own collagen adds volume to the deeper layers of your skin and fills in the areas where you currently have lines and wrinkles.

How does the EndyMed 3DEEP body contouring treatment work?

The body contouring treatments with the 3DEEP system work much the same way as the anti-aging applications. Increased collagen levels enhance contours and tighten the skin. Cellulite begins to fade away as the collagen strengthens the connective tissue under the skin.

In addition to follow-up treatments, you should follow a healthy diet and exercise to keep your body looking toned and healthy.

We may recommend other treatments to be performed in conjunction with your 3DEEP procedure to give you the best results. We will discuss your entire treatment plan during your consultation.

A message from Dr. David Goldberg and the team at Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of NY & NJ:

Dear Patients,

Our providers and staff recognize that we are all faced with difficult times as this pandemic continues to unfold throughout our area. However, the continuation of your care remains our top priority!

At this time, our New York City office is temporarily closed.

In our effort to provide you with the highest level of service, the Hackensack and Hillsborough NJ offices will remain open until further notice with limited hours of availability. We ask for your understanding with our protocols on hand washing and social distancing when you arrive for your appointment. Please do not come to the office if you are experiencing a cough, fever, shortness of breath, or other symptoms associated with COVID-19.

Should you prefer not to visit the office in person, our providers are now offering virtual office visits. This is commonly known as telemedicine, or in this case, teledermatology. Our dedicated concierge team will assist you in scheduling a virtual appointment with your provider, including those in the New York City office.

Currently, the government mandates that the only way to have these virtual visits is to communicate via FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or WhatsApp video. This is because your medical providers needs to see you, and you can show the provider the problem area of your body that you are concerned about. You will also be able to discuss any other issues regarding your ongoing care or for any new skin concerns you may have. Your provider may tell you that an in-person visit may be required for testing or more in-depth examination. In that case, a concierge team member will reach out to schedule an in-office visit.

To schedule your in-person or virtual appointment, please call our office at 908-359-8980 or email [email protected] Our concierge team members will schedule a time for your medical provider to call you back. We have set aside times for all of our medical providers to call you for your virtual appointment.

Please be aware that virtual visits must be billed to your medical health insurance just as they would for an in-person office visit. If your insurance has recently changed, please have that information ready to provide to our team members. Depending on your insurance plan, you may have financial obligations such as co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance just as you would for an in-office visit (at the present time, the government has only waived co-pays related to COVID-19 testing).

We understand that this is a stressful time, but we are here for you!

Stay safe and healthy,

Dr. David Goldberg and the team at Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of NY & NJ
