What is EMFACE?

EMFACE is a new nonsurgical facelifting treatment that is changing the way we age. EMFACE, which is created by the makers of EMSCULPT, uses a groundbreaking technology that has never been used before in the aesthetics category.

EMFACE technology is the first ever to target the muscle tone and skin tightness on the face, which degrade as you age. This revolutionary needle-free device lifts the face through facial muscle strengthening and skin tightening, giving a more youthful appearance back to your face. As we age, our faces fall with gravity due to changes in the skin, muscle, fat pads and facial bones. EMFACE can turn back the clock by painlessly strengthening facial muscles and restoring the shape of the face with a combination of electrical and radiofrequency stimulation.

Why choose EMFACE?

EMFACE has been clinically studied and shown to deliver an average of:

  • 23% Lifting of the face in the brows, midface and neck
  • 30% Muscle Strengthening
  • 37% Less Wrinkles

The benefits of EMFACE include:

  • Firmer skin
  • Lifted skin
  • Improved texture of the skin
  • Reduction of jowls

Does EMFACE hurt?

No. Unlike many other skin tightening devices available at your dermatologist's office, there is no need for numbing cream or any type of pain management.

How many EMFACE treatments are needed?

Results can be seen following one treatment; however, four treatments are needed for full results. EMFACE treatments should be done about every 7-14 days. After finishing the full four treatments, long-term results with overall improvement of the structure of the face and skin quality can be enjoyed.

Can EMFACE be combined with other cosmetic treatments?

Yes! In fact, the best results are when EMFACE is used as part of an overall cosmetic treatment plan. EMFACE is safe for use with Botox, fillers, laser treatments and additional skin tightening treatments.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Our in-office safety policies are aligned with the latest guidelines issued by the CDC and local government officials related to COVID-19.

New safety policies for patients:

  • Patients will undergo screening questions and receive comprehensive instructions about our new policies prior to their appointment.
  • To minimize contact, we will offer patients virtual check in and check out.
  • Patients will be instructed to come to the office wearing a mask.
  • Patient temperatures will be checked via forehead scanners upon arrival to the office.
  • We have reorganized our offices to maximize social distancing and cleanliness, and we have altered workflows to allow patients to wait outside or in their cars until their exam room is ready. Patients will be contacted via text message or phone call when the provider is ready for the visit to begin.
  • We are asking for patients to arrive at their appointment alone. For children and adult patients who require a caretaker, one adult may accompany the patient.
  • Patients who are sick or have had exposures to COVID-19 will be rescheduled.
  • Offices will be cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day.
  • Teledermatology appointments remain available for patients who prefer to be seen virtually.

New safety policies for office & staff:

  • All of our staff have completed training on all new workflows and infection prevention measures.
  • All of our clinical staff will be wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during patient encounters to include masks and eye protection.
  • Our exam rooms are sanitized before and after every patient visit.
  • All SLSS team members will be screened for symptoms and/or fever daily prior to coming to work.
