What happens during an EmSculpt treatment?
EmSculpt is a procedure performed right here in one of our NJ or NYC offices. Through the use of two panels to deliver HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) energy, the EmSculpt device penetrates through the skin to address fat as well as muscle tissues. Once this energy reaches the muscles, it induces approximately 20,000 muscle contractions per session. This is, of course, impossible to achieve through voluntary muscle action.
These contractions act much like actual muscular contractions. They result in a rapid metabolic reaction in fat cells, all while providing energy to the muscles, strengthening and building them.
