How does a non-surgical facelift work?
Our NYC non-surgical facelift is based on an approach that leads to new skin collagen formation resulting in better tone and strength. While skin tightening is the primary focus, the skin complexion is also addressed, becoming more hydrated, toned and refreshed after your non-surgical facelift treatment.
What to expect during your non-surgical facelift
During your NJ non-surgical facelift, the first step is to identify the specific areas of the face, neck, and décolletage that require treatment. Once this is done, the skin is cleaned and the ultrasound gel is applied. The Ultherapy handpiece is placed against the skin, which, in addition to treating the skin, also produces an image of the skin’s structure. This advanced technology allows your provider to identify the correct depth at which the ultrasound waves must be delivered.
During treatment, you will feel the sensation of ultrasound energy, but most patients report very little discomfort. The tingling sensation you feel is the ultrasound triggering your body to rebuild the collagen layer.
Once treatment is complete, patients can resume their day with no downtime. There may be a slight flushed appearance, minor swelling, or tenderness. These side effects are minimal and typically disappear rapidly.
